This Privacy Policy describes how Tyrant Games ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Tyrant mobile application, related game services, and this website (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of information:

• Account Information: Your account ID, username, linked sign-in provider, and email address if you sign in with Apple or Google. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose "Hide My Email," we may receive a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.
• Guest Account and Device Information: A persistent device identifier used to create and maintain a guest account, keep you signed in, prevent duplicate guest accounts, and link your progress to your device.
• Gameplay and Progress Data: Your server selections, castles, buildings, troops, heroes, resources, inventory, progression, battle reports, quests, achievements, event participation, matchmaking, and other saved game state.
• Social and Multiplayer Data: Your guild membership, guild applications and invitations, leaderboard positions, profile information visible to other players, and in-game chat messages or other player-to-player communications that you send through the Services.
• Notification Data: Push notification tokens, notification preferences, and information needed to send gameplay-related alerts such as construction completion, troop activity, event alerts, and guild activity.
• Support and Communications: Information you provide when you contact support, including your email address and the contents of your message.
• Technical and Security Data: Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the Services, such as authentication status, app version, platform, and service logs generated when you use the app.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage guest and linked accounts
• Authenticate users through Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In
• Save, sync, and restore gameplay progress across sessions and devices where supported
• Operate multiplayer systems, guild features, chat, leaderboards, events, and matchmaking
• Send push notifications and maintain your notification settings
• Provide customer support and respond to requests
• Maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, and debug service issues
• Improve game balance, reliability, and overall service performance
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, players, and services

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use personal information for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising. We may share information only as described below:

• Service Providers: We may share information with vendors and infrastructure providers that host, secure, support, or operate the Services on our behalf.
• Authentication Providers: If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, those providers process sign-in data in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
• Notification Providers: Push notification tokens may be shared with service providers needed to deliver notifications to your device.
• Other Players: Your username, guild affiliation, leaderboard rank, profile information shown in-game, and messages you send may be visible to other players as part of the core functionality of the game.
• Legal or Safety Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to investigate, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security, or safety issues.
• Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in our Services, including:

• Encrypted transmission of data over HTTPS/TLS
• Secure storage of authentication credentials on supported devices
• Access controls and operational safeguards intended to limit unauthorized access

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain account, gameplay, social, and support data for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you request account deletion, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 7-day waiting period. During that period, you may be able to cancel the deletion request by logging back in. After the deletion period expires, your account and associated personal data are deleted or anonymized, subject to any information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.

We may retain aggregated or de-identified gameplay and service data that does not reasonably identify you.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal data we hold about you. You may also have the right to appeal or limit certain processing in some jurisdictions.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally valid authorization where required. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

International Data Processing

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than the one where you live. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice in the app or through other appropriate means.
